To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced sales professional (m/f/d) who shares our vision and works on equal footing with managing directors and IT managers.
Your mission: What to expect
As a senior sales manager, you are the engine of our growth. You are not just a product seller, but a solution-oriented consultant (“consultative seller”). You understand the business challenges of medium-sized companies and translate them into tailor-made, high-quality solutions from our 9-pillar portfolio — from managed security (NIS2) to cloud strategy and penetration tests.
Your tasks: What you will move
- Acquisition of new customers: You actively identify and acquire new B2B customers in upscale SMEs.
- Solution selling: You manage the entire sales cycle on your own responsibility — from initial contact to C-level needs analysis to successful completion.
- Advice on equal terms: You understand the “pain points” of CEOs, CFOs and CTOs and develop tailor-made solutions.
- Preparation of offers: In close coordination with our technical & consulting team (pre-sales), you will create convincing and technically sound offers.
- Key account management: You support strategically important existing customers and actively expand cooperation through cross-selling and upselling.
- Reporting: You professionally maintain your pipeline in the CRM system and create meaningful forecasts.
Your profile: What you bring
- Experience: Several years of demonstrable sales experience (senior level) in the B2B environment for IT services that require explanation (e.g. managed services, cyber security, cloud solutions).
- personality: You are a “hunter” with a passion for acquiring new customers and a “farmer” with strategic vision.
- Strong communication skills: You are a confident interlocutor at management level, good at presentation and good at negotiating.
- Technical understanding: You don't have to be a technician, but you understand the business implications of concepts such as ITIL, NIS2, cloud architecture, and penetration testing.
- Working method: High level of self-motivation, a structured way of working and absolute “financial security”.
- language: Fluent written and spoken German language skills.
- (Nice-to-have): An active, resilient network in the Cologne/NRW area.
